Wind resistance

The Matrice 4D and 4TD deliver impressive flight performance, handling winds up to 12 m/s with stable takeoff and landing, and up to 32 minutes of flight time.

The D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version enhances video transmission and satellite acquisition with superior anti-interference performance. Installed at elevated locations, it extends transmission up to 25 km, ensuring reliable signals and flexible Dock 3 deployment.

Mounting the D-RTK 3 Relay on rooftops improves signal quality, enabling Dock 3 deployment near high-rise buildings or substations.

Mobile vehicle-mounted deployment

DJI Dock 3 is DJI’s first dock designed for vehicle-mounted deployment. Tested for vibration resistance, it features horizontal and cloud-based location calibration. The DJI Dock 3 Vehicle-Mounted Gimbal Mount offers a flexible solution for emergency operations and temporary deployments.

Cloud-based calibration

During mobile operations, DJI FlightHub 2 enables remote dock positioning and task assignment via the cloud, improving personnel coordination and scheduling efficiency.

Safe dual-dock deployment

Two DJI Dock 3 units can be deployed on a single vehicle for increased efficiency. A specialised take-over pattern prevents collisions, ensuring safe, alternating operations. Drones can hover and rotate for continuous aerial footage.

High-performance drones

The DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD are built for DJI Dock 3, offering extended flight time and standalone use with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise. Both feature advanced camera systems, with the Matrice 4D excelling in precision mapping and inspections, while the Matrice 4TD adds thermal imaging and NIR lighting for emergency response and public safety.

Improved flight time

When fully charged, the Matrice 4D/4TD offers up to 47 minutes of flight time at 15 m/s—a 37% increase in operation time. At a 10 km radius, they provide 18 minutes of operation.

Obstacle sensing for safe operation

The Obstacle Sensing Module for Matrice 4D/4TD combines rotating LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar for precise 12mm wire-level obstacle avoidance at speeds up to 15 m/s. It enhances positioning in low light and ensures safe operation in complex power networks and substations.
