Battery swap dock with the O4 Ground Station. Fixed or vehicle mounted.

A battery swap dock and the aircraft built for it. DJI Dock 4 turns the Matrice 5TD around in under a minute, and the Matrice 5TD carries wide, tele and thermal cameras for inspection, security and emergency response from a single site.

Battery swap dock with the O4 Ground Station. Fixed or vehicle mounted.

The dock aircraft. Wide, tele and thermal on one gimbal.
A swap arm replaces the battery instead of charging it, so the aircraft can launch again in about 45 seconds.
Wide, 3x and 11x tele, and 1280 thermal, plus a 3 km laser rangefinder and a near infrared illuminator.
An obstacle sensing module that halts the aircraft before it reaches a line, backed by colour vision, mmWave radar and LiDAR.
Detection of people, vehicles, livestock, smoke and fire on the aircraft, and Copilot for building waylines and workflows.
Run FlightHub 2 on your own servers, with failover, load balancing and backup.
A parachute accessory for the top mount that deploys from 35 m and brings the descent to under 6 m/s.
Battery swap, O4 Ground Station, fixed or vehicle mounted
Dock 4 lands the aircraft, pulls the used battery and seats a charged one with a rotating swap arm, then it’s ready to launch. Missions run back to back instead of waiting on a charge cycle.

Land and align, grip and remove, rotate the swap arm, stow the used battery, insert the new one, ready to go. The aircraft stays on the pad the whole time.
Up to 2 GB comes off the aircraft each swap. Long inspection runs can produce more than that, so plan the offload into the mission cycle.
Security patrols, DFR and site monitoring, where the dock being ready again in seconds matters more than any single flight. Plan battery cycle life and crew rostering around that tempo.
The O4 Ground Station raises the RTK, transmission and storage modules above ground level obstructions, extending the range of the dock. Hills, shelterbelts and buildings tend to cap range on New Zealand sites long before the aircraft does, so height is worth having.

Up to 40 km O4 transmission range depending on regional radio rules, with sub 2 GHz where it’s permitted.
Aircraft link through whichever O4 Ground Station is closest, so stations can be placed to cover the area you need.
Five GNSS constellations and 19 frequencies, for positioning around steel structures, tall buildings and deep valleys where sky view and multipath are the problem.
Two 4G SIMs in the Matrice 5TD airframe, fused with the O4 link for smoother live video.
IP56 on the dock, IP55 on the aircraft, and anti icing propeller materials. The rating is the hardware’s limit. Wind, icing and visibility on the day still make the go or no go call, so plan for on site weather.

1,000,000 battery swaps in DJI’s product beta testing, with 300 test docks deployed in the field through extreme heat, sub zero cold, salt fog and coastal wind.
Five validation stages of 60,000 swap cycles each, through heat and humidity, deep freeze, sand and dust, plus 20,000 swaps in dedicated reliability testing.
The same dock and aircraft run as a permanent site or from the back of a vehicle.

Substations, quarries, ports, rooftops and remote assets that need scheduled and on demand flights from the same spot every day. Mount the O4 Ground Station high for the best line of sight.
Temporary sites, incident response and work that moves. Also a practical way to prove a site before committing to a fixed install.
Dock 4 runs on DJI FlightHub 2, either in DJI’s cloud or on your own servers. Mission planning, live view, media and dock health all sit in one place.

Cluster deployment on your own servers, with automatic failover if a node drops, load balancing across nodes, and scheduled backups for disaster recovery. On security, DJI has had FlightHub assessed against the EU NIS2 directive and ISO 27001, with audit logging and full link encryption.
People and vehicles (filterable by colour), smoke and fire, cattle, horses and sheep, and plant and machinery from excavators to forklifts.
Copilot builds waylines and workflows from a plain language request. DFR handles dispatch for rapid response. Analyzer Pro flags site changes and pins targets to coordinates.
A big step up in payload
The Matrice 5TD gets to a job quickly and stays on it, so one dock covers more ground per shift.

FlyTo speed of up to 21 m/s, reaching a target 3 km out in under three minutes.
Up to 59 minutes of flight time, about 48 minutes in practice. With a 45 second swap, coverage gaps come down to the transit home, the swap and the transit back out.
Four cameras, a laser rangefinder and a near infrared illuminator. DJI shows it reading a number plate from 400 m and picking out a screw from 100 m.

50 MP on a 1/0.98 inch sensor, the main camera for general inspection and site overviews.
50 MP 3x medium tele (1/1.28 inch) and 50 MP 11x super tele (1/1.5 inch) with up to 176x hybrid zoom. The super tele uses an RYYB sensor for full colour images at night.
1280 × 1024 native, with 2560 × 2048 super resolution. That’s four times the pixel count of a 640 × 512 core.
Laser rangefinder out to 3 km, and a near infrared illuminator that works with night vision for covert work.
A BVLOS SORA has to deal with ground risk and air risk. On the ground side, the optional parachute accessory deploys from 35 m and brings the descent to under 6 m/s. Air risk is where on site awareness like Percepta comes in.

The obstacle sensing module stops the aircraft before it reaches a power line, backed by omnidirectional colour vision, forward, upward and downward mmWave radar, and a 360° rotating LiDAR.
Real time alerts the moment the aircraft goes over its altitude limit. RID detection supports coordination between aircraft in multi aircraft operations, only where Remote ID has been implemented.
An optional accessory that mounts on top of the aircraft. 107 g, a 35 m minimum deployment height, and a stabilised descent of under 6 m/s. Replace it after any deployment.
Three accessory mounts take DJI’s speaker, spotlight and parachute, and the aircraft supports red and blue warning lights.

11 lux at 100 m, and the beam width follows the camera zoom so the light lands where you’re looking.
120 dB at 1 m with push to talk, for clearing an area or talking to someone on the ground.
Configurable warning lights for emergency services work.

Approvals and deployment
Most dock projects are decided by the approval, not the hardware. We run the process with you end to end, and set your team up to operate the dock in house. If you’d rather not run it yet, we fly it from our Remote Operations Centre while your team builds up.
Incredible holds one of the first Part 102 certificates issued in New Zealand, and we have the most experienced remote operations team in the country.
Dock and O4 Ground Station placement, power, comms, airspace and neighbours, worked out before anything is installed.
The SORA and Part 102 application, built around the mitigations your hardware actually supports. More on our BVLOS services.
Operations manual, procedures, and training for the people who will run the dock day to day.
We operate the dock from our Auckland ROC for as long as you need, then hand over.

Remote situational awareness
The dock reports on the aircraft. Percepta reports on everything around it: air traffic, local weather, the view over the pad, comms and power. One cabinet and one interface, watched from our ROC or yours.

Battery backup options go up to 20 kWh.
