UAV Repairs Process

Our streamlined process ensures efficient turnaround and minimal disruption, so you can return to operations with confidence.

  1. Repair request – Submit a repair enquiry form with details of the issue and affected equipment.
  2. Asset delivery – Courier your equipment to us or arrange in-person drop-off at our service location. Shipping arrangements are confirmed at booking.
  3. Assessment & quotation – A qualified technician conducts a detailed evaluation and provides a transparent repair quote.
  4. Repair completion – Upon approval, repairs are scheduled and carried out in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
  5. Asset return – Your equipment is returned promptly, with confirmation of completed repairs and service documentation where applicable.
Repair Eligibility

To access our repair services, please ensure the following documentation is provided:

  • Proof of ownership: Documentation confirming ownership of the drone(s) requiring repair
  • Insurance information: Relevant claim details and supporting documentation, where applicable
  • Condition report: A brief description of the issue or damage to support accurate assessment and quotation

Repairs FAQs

Most drone repairs are completed within approximately seven business days. However, if specialised parts are required or the repair scope is more extensive,
turnaround time may extend to up to four weeks.

The $150 assessment fee (incl. GST) includes secure transport and a comprehensive technical evaluation of your drone. This typically covers:


• Courier shipping to and from our repair centre
• Initial inspection and fault assessment
• Asset registration and service case setup
• Preparation of a detailed repair quotation


If you proceed with the repair, $50 of the assessment fee is credited toward the final repair cost.

Repair pricing is determined by the aircraft model, extent of damage, labour required, and any replacement parts needed. Following the initial assessment,
you will receive a detailed quotation outlining the proposed repair scope and associated costs.

When delivering or shipping your drone for repair, please include:


• The aircraft (with the latest firmware installed where possible)
• The remote controller
• Operational batteries only (please do not send damaged batteries)


Retain additional accessories, such as memory cards, unless specifically requested by our team.

If you have chosen to drop off your aircraft, please deliver it to our designated service location during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00am –
3:00pm
Full address and delivery instructions will be confirmed at the time of booking.

If you have chosen courier delivery, please send your aircraft to our nominated service address.
Full shipping details and instructions will be provided once your maintenance booking has been confirmed.

Ensuring firmware is up to date helps prevent software-related issues that may interfere with diagnostics or delay the assessment process. It allows our
technicians to accurately identify hardware faults without system conflicts.
Firmware updates can typically be completed via the manufacturer’s official flight application or desktop software. If you require assistance, our team can
guide you through the process.

If the aircraft is deemed beyond economical repair, or you choose not to proceed following the quotation, the drone will be returned to you in its existing
condition.

Yes. Repair work is supported by a warranty, with coverage terms varying depending on the manufacturer and components involved. Please contact us for
specific warranty details relating to your repair.
