Commercial usage of drones is gaining steady momentum

Drone Technology

In a world that is ever evolving, technology is not just something to be kept up with, but something to be led. Which is exactly what Incredible Images do; we lead the curve with the latest equipment, keeping our fleet as well as camera collection at a level that leaves others in the dust.

Aside from looking good, our new generation of aerial rigs are built to be as safe and reliable as possible. With the rise of the Unmanned Aerial Industry at an all-time high, stories of on-set crashes and mishaps by newcomers seem to be flooding the film world. This is where our equipment and experience shine. Safety always comes first.

Our Certification
Incredible Images holds a CAA Part 102 certificate. This allows us to operate safely and legally where most others can’t. Including close to airports and helipads, at night, and over 120m high (all at the same time if necessary!)

Our Systems

The workhorse of our fleet is the DJI Inspire 2. The perfect mix of portability, reliability and image quality, this is our go to platform for high quality stills and video work. Paired with our top end X7 camera and suite of lenses, it can deliver 24MP stills and up to 6k raw video. We can operate this machine with a single pilot or as a dual operation, pilot and dedicated camera control, which is best for video projects. We fly this machine everyday; long range, over water, up mountains, at night, in the CBD, indoors. You name it, we’ve done it.

If you want to fly a specific camera, then our DJI Matrice 600 is the way to go. Almost any imaging system out there can be mounted and operated remotely on this platform. From high end stills cameras from Sony, Nikon or Hassleblad to name a few, or video systems up to RED or Arri. All are at home on this heavy lifter. This machine is also the home of our thermal imaging system.

Rounding out our fleet is the industrial DJI Matrice 210 RTK. This is designed for quick deploy applications in almost any weather. This machine can fly and operate 2 cameras at the same time (one of which can be top mounted if required), and with our super zoom camera, is perfect for inspection work.
